Sell the Z and Buy a NSX?
I have to agree with the comment about the 02 Corvette Z06, here comes the but. But, you made a comment about how you were unhappy about the hit on depreciation of the Z. I really think the Z is going to continue to depreciate at a somewhat unpleasing rate, and the NSX you will probably be able to drive it for a year and not loose a penny on it at 30K. Plus you will turn a lot more heads in the NSX.

Regardless of what kind of car it is you need to keep in mind that it is still a used car and things can go wrong with it at any time. And with a car like the NSX I would hate to see how much a new tranny or something like that would cost...
I'd take the NSX if it were a manual tranny. From what I have experienced the Acura 3.0 AT cannot handle the power and they had alot of problems with them I think they even extended the powertrain warranty as well.

As some have already mentioned the NSX is an old car. The chassis technology of the Z is considerably superior to the NSX, in fact the NSX flexes quite a bit due to the AL chassis. The Z is stiffer and much more robust in it's construction, hence it weighs slightly more. Remember the NSX was developed in the 80's..it is indeed an old car, but it is now one of the few all AL cars.

The NSX chassis flexes quite a bit? A 91 Coupe? Are you serious?
I compared my 91 NSX with a recently rented 350Z, and while the 350Z was a blast to drive, there is no way the NSX flexes in comparison to the 350Z.
I pretty much agree with everything else you posted, but the chassis flex is quite wrong. If anything maybe your shocks were worn or something. My NSX feels like a solid block of metal that just doesn't flex. The ride is that amazing.

i think the nsx is very sleek and nice car. and the z is a muscular looking car. someone said that the nsx is a supercar. is that true? how much better does it perform over the z. i know that they both have similar power and handling favors the nsx a little. it looks like a supercar, but is it really one? please inform me.

Now is it a supercar compared to a McLaren F1? Probaly not.
A Ferrari F430? Maybe not.
A Ferrari 360 or 355? Perhaps.
The handling doesn't favor the NSX a "little". The NSX handling is what sets it apart from most street cars.
I hope you get a chance to drive one in the future, and decide for yourself.
In the meantime, let me say this - it drives even better than it looks.
