GTR vs a modded Z. I would have to go with GTR. It is going to be an amazing car stock but later on down the road you could modded it as well. If they put the 3.7 liter twin turbo motor in it, it could be less costly to modify.

Have you read the SZM article on turbo's? When we tested both the APS and JWT TT kits, we felt they had very little turbo lag. Smaller-water-cooled, full ball-bearing turbochargers give them both less lag and this also gives them a feeling of being more like a factory set up (at least what we envisioned a factory set up would perform like) rather than a larger, peak hp type set up such as the GReddy.

I believe Nissan has said that the GT-R is offering 911 Turbo preformance at 911 price. So how much modding could you do to a Z to get 911 Turbo performance? I would get the GT-R (I like the looks) and mod it anyway :P
