Default Is it normal?

Is it normal if I were to be in first gear, and remove the clutch slowly and the car would not stall? but when I remove it with the quickness the car stall. When to the dealershio and they told me that it was normal... what is your opion?

normal. You'd have to ease off the clutch ever so softly though, if you wanted the clutch to engage and not stall the vehicle.

if you let go of the clutch quickley, you must compensate by giving it more acceleration. But be prepared for a quick, hard, possibly spin out take off. Dumping the clutch while in idle causes the cluth to overpower the engine and stops the internals dead in their tracks.

I agree.
Afterall, not everyone has been as lucky as some of us were in having a father/Old/brother friend show us how to do it...Right?

Yes it's "normal"!
If your slowly taking the resistance (with your foot of course ) off the clutch pedal and your on somewhat level ground, usually most cars wont "stall", rather they will start rolling (at the pre-set idle setting (in 1st gear)...
If you reduce the resistance on the clutch pedal too quickly (It realy dosent take that much ) usually, yes the car will stall. Keep in mind that 99.99% of MT (Manual Trany) will act with these "tendencies".
Hope this clarifies some of this for you.

Most sticks have even torque that if you go slow enough and are not on a hill you can be completely off the clutch. I had it perfected in my Miata, because I got stuck in traffic alot. I can do it in the Z, but I have to concentrate, because I have not logged that many traffic miles in the Z.

I would of loved to seen the techs face as the service writer asked him that to double check
