So you think they're going to pick some random stock Z to sponsor and basically pay you to pimp out your ride? Wrong...

I personally won't do sponsorships, as there is MUCH more involved that just getting free money for your car. You're actually under contract to arrive at x number events and shows, among other things.

if you be friendly enough and refer business to the vendor in here, you can basicly buy stuff at the cost that even better than sponsor rate. Keep in mind that nowadays, they don't sponsor you 100% anymore. (they do but VERY RARE)

I think he is speaking of carsponsorship.com or whatever that is called where they give you a little off the msrp full price of mostly no name parts. Completely marketing for the manufacturers not really a sponsorship.

ya i have had a sponsorship once before on my truck. It sucked b/c they told you when to be somewhere how long u had to stay. What u can and cant do to your ride.Yes it was nice getting show cheap. And another thing it sucked when u already plans for a weekend and they called u and told u to go to a show. got old real quick.

The more money that you send, the better your chances of being sponsored.

seriously its the biggest waste of your money with those online sponsorships. The only way to get FULL sponsorship is to have a shop car sponsored by a shop or have a fully tricked out show car and they would sponsor you if you have their parts or willing to replace your parts with theirs and they still will charge you money on the items.

when they say partial sponsorchip that is just a fancy way of saying im going to give you a discount. seriously take it from me, I attend 30-40 car showes a year and my car has 0 sponsors b/c it is not up to par and the partial sponsores are really a joke, I can get the parts for cheaper with some research.

The actual FREE stuff that is duable is from CRAPPY companies that send you junk ONLY if you PROVE them you attended such and such then not to mention you have to take pictures and wear their clothes and their decals on your car. also that not all showes you go to count. its too much work for parts that you dont really want.

Those websites are for the Honda ricers, leave them alone please.

i was "sponsered" by sport compact car and that was a waste of my time...most of the time there 40% discount i supposedly got was the same price or more then the vendors on here when they have sales!! went to there events and dealt with their suits...no good....DONT DO IT....

I have several sponsors. It takes a killer proposal and a lot of work to land sponsorship. Even then the majority of my sponsorship is partial. If you receive a partial you want at minimum cost on the parts. I contact companies that have products that I need for my build and carry products that I would not mind representing.

To receive sponsorship you have to already have a ton of work done to your car. The car has to be able to draw attention at a show for a potential sponsor to even consider doing it. They also don't care about local shows. It is all about DUB, HIN, NOPI, Funk Master Flex and very very large regional shows.

Did we not see the post 3 posts down?
Car sponsorships DO NOT happen for the regular Joe with a stock or stockish car
They happen for someone in the game and well or somewhat known that has built other cars or already has big money into their current car.

Nothing comes from nothing and nothing is free. Remember that

LMAO...that company is a peace of sh**. i put in a form for it with my turbo'd b18 and they wanted to "sponsor" me...so i signed the contract did the stuff they wanted me to do and they stiffed me on car parts...i orderd a vis racing c/f evo hood from them...like 750 bucks right? well they didnt take any money off the top and they sent me a seibon c/f evo hood instead of the vis racing one!!! they told me its better quality and there was nothing they could do about it...

if you want to get sponsored do it the right way. go to the strip and impress companys...they will look for you..dont look for them.
