I was at Nissan for oil change on my 99 Sentra Se!! I was looking in the window of a lightly used 03 Touring 6MT. Sales guy came up to me. Went for a ride in it and I never even saw my Sentra again. I traded it on the spot and had my Z in my driveway about 4 hours later!!

Never owned or drivien a 6 speed before (a few 5 speeds) and I didn't know you had to press down on the shifter, to engage reverse

hehe. Many years ago when the Ford Focus SVT came out I wanted to try it. NOBODY in the dealership could get the car out of the showroom because they didn't know how to engage Reverse.

Eventually they got a service techician to come over, laugh at them, and get the car out. It was at this point that the Focus SVT "expert" let me take the car out. She was no less than 300lbs....I kid you not. Needless to say, with that weight the car did not perform.

I test drove mine very calmly and only kind of stepped into the throttle a little bit but I could feel the power waiting for me to push it. I remember driving it all over the place the first day I bought it with the windows down and the music blaring. Then I shut the music off and just listened to the car, . That was the best part. I probably put about 400 miles on it the first day I had it, haha.

Dealership Test Drive.

Dealer: "You can take it up as fast as you want, and if you get a ticket, we'll pay for it, as long as you buy this car, heh heh heh!"

Took it up to 105mph on Portola Pkwy (Irvine, CA). Felt good with good low-end pull (compared to the RX-8 I had just driven that the same day).

Bought the car...but 6 months later. No tickets that day. I love this car.
