Default Place to get a good deal on Jack and Jackstands

Mods, I apologize because I wasn't sure where to post this..

2 1/4 ton hydraulic jack and two 2 1/4 jack stands for $27.49. I just bought a set for my Z this weekend. They extended the sale until Tomorrow so I thought I'd let everyone know to pick one up before it's over.

And NO I do not work for them.

The biggest problem with those cheap jacks is that there's no way you can fit them under the car. That one has a 5-1/2" minimum lift height, I bought this one:

It has a 3-3/4" lift height and I still have trouble getting it under the front to get to the lift pad. I have to drive the car up on a 2X8 to be able to fit the "low profile" jack under it.

Default Question?

When working underneath the Z. One jack or two to lift the car for an oil Change? Not a fan of ramps, and looking for a race jack and probablly gonna use carpet or another type of cushion material not to mark up the frame.

Yeah, Harbor Freight has a nice aluminum low profile floor jack I've had my eye on for a while now. It's $180.

They also have a good selection of jackstands, too.

I have a cheap sears jack that works just fine. I don't think any low profile jack will work for my car though. I use 2x10 boards to pull up on so I can get the jack under the skirts.

you're not lifting the entire car, just part of it.
3000 is more than enough to raise the front or the rear up to change a tire.
