Default Hockey Equipment in a Z

Lately a few hockey players have posted on here asking if they could fit their gear in a Z, so when I got home from the rink today, I decided to take a couple of pics. If anyone hauls their stuff in a roadster, please post some pics so we have both models covered for the newbies.

Default Definitely fits

Got mine_ and_ my friends bags in the back, sticks down the center and into the passenger foot space.
Sorry no pics!

Oh yeah and after a game one time I was putting my gear back in the car and overhead someone say "Who drives a Porsche to a hockey game?" LOL - On my previous team one of the players had two vipers.

Now, that's impressive! LOL I'm short, so if I put another bag in front of the strut tower brace I'd be worried about scratching up all the plastic when I dragged it out.

Any roadster owners got pics?

LOL - I've actually seen a couple of Porches at the rink here after games. No Vipers though. I always get "there's no way your gear is going to fit in there". Uh, yes it is!

Luckily down here we can put the windows down all year long, so no smell in my Z yet.

lol i have managed that one as well... i always told people i couldnt give them rides anywhere anymore with their bags liek to practice and ****, but one day i HAD to give someone a ride to the game so i figured we would deal with it and liek take everything out and put the quipment diff places and stuff, but i just put it on top of strut, and leanign against the seats and takes out my whole view but it was done without opening the bag...fun stuff

LOL - I use to live in VA, and ended up playing on the same team as one of my neighbors. His job on the team was to drag me out to the games if it was too cold or snowy. They use to make fun of me because I thought it was too cold to go play hockey.

Default Very Funny!

I am in the market for a new car, either a G35 coupe or a Z. While researching them I came across this site and this thread. One of the things I was wondering was whether I would be able to fit my hockey equipment in it. I used to own 2 280ZX's and a 300ZX. Fitting the equipment in them was a breeze (given that they have no strut brace). People would actually be amazed at the amount of stuff I could fit into the back of such a small car. The ability to fit my equipment was not going to be a deciding factor betweent he Z and the G35, but it is nice to know that it's possible. I just find it amusing that this there is actually a post on this.

LOL - glad we could help! I just thought it might be helpful to have a thread with pics since every month or so we get someone new on here asking the question. I just wish some hockey playing roadster owner would speak up...

Oh, and your gear should fit fine in a G also!

Juno,

Definitely very helpful...I also may have an answer for you on the Roadster question...
I was in the Nissan dealership last night, they did not have a Z for me to test drive so I was giving the sales guy my info so he could call me when they had one in. I come back to the showroom to find my wife sitting in the roadster in the showroom talking to some other sales people. She smiles at me and says that the roadster is definitely the way to go. I laughed and said that I already decided on a coupe. As we are leaving the sales people my wife was talking to told me to enjoy my new Roadster when I get it....they obviously must be married!
