The APS Pipes sound great IMO. There is a bit of a rasp but I like it and not as bad as everyone plays it to be. Also it isn't as loud as I thought. Another Z owner, stock Z, told me he like them cause it just adds to the stock exhust tone. At hwy speeds you don't even know they are there. When you hit the gas though... It lets the person next to you know you're modded. I suggest them!

Robert, I see you posted your results also in the "Other cars" section on the Evo forums as well Nice numbers!! Of course those mods for $800 are just for the parts only, not for labor which you probably did yourself. But for a mechanically-challenged dummy like myself, I'd probably need some help

Yes the $800 is for parts only. But anyone can install all these parts. Trust me even my wife could figure it out. These are all "bolt-on" parts. Worst case is get a good friend that has a bit of auto knowledge background & a six pack.

I heard your exhaust as you drive off to lunch. It did not sound bad at all. It add a nice tone to the stock system. I will probably get the APS test pipes in a couple of weeks to put on my HKS system.

Or wait for the HKS Single Turbo to come out.

Thanks! Thats what I'm trying to tell everyone, It adds to the stock system. Let me know when you get the APS & HKS system. Would love to hear it myself.

Thanks!!!! I'm impressed myself. Really need the UTEC to tune everything in. Like I said we (me & my tuner) think we can get another 15whp & 15wtq with just the UTEC. Maybe a full cat-back or just Y-Pipe. I'm acually starting to think of staying N/A cause the car was so fast on the road track this weekend that much more power might not be used. Don't know have to see what I can do N/A and go from there. All my N/A mods will be F/I supporting mods.

And that why I'm starting to think I might stay N/A. Cause HKS might be discontinuing the Rotrex kit. I don't want a turbo at all. I love the low-end torque/power. Coming from owning an Evo, turbo lag sucks!

Thanks! No Unnichip here. If I'm going to tune I'm going to do it the right way and that with the UTEC right now. Talking with my tuner it more of a timing issue vs an A/F issue that many, including myself at first, think/thought.

Sounds like someone is jealous possibliy or is a dyno queen and doesn't like or know useable power vs raw power. 17whp & 10wtq gain is awesome on a N/A motor.

A lot of people care about 17hp. Boost my sh*t and be done with it. What boost do you recommend before I say anything more? As far as the weaksauce thing... That just tells me you could be a 15 y/o that wishes to own a car at all.

i went with the power enterprise TT kit... with a mild tune I made 524
cost me about 4300 for everything..

gave me an increase of 263 hp from stock...

4300/263 = 16.43$ per hp

800/17 = 47.05$ per hp

You suck

and now i make real power.. and youre weaksauce pulling on stock vehicles..

And let me know how your motor is doing is 30k miles. Also what dyno did you dyno on? Also 524whp is too much for my use. If you are a 1/4 mile racer or just like to be a dyno king congrats you have achived your goal. But that much power will not be used on a road course.

That is just it... I have come to find that most guys that are F/I think its the only way to go. Also most of those that think that don't do reseach and just spend money and end up blowing their motor like I'm sure this kid will do. I mean it cool he has his 500+hp but its not useable power on a road course or autocross.
Also please post a dyno sheet would love to see it.
