+ 1. The new 06 Bi-Xenons weren't made to look "nice", but the bi-xenon projectors are made for lighting performance, and they all out sh*t on the 03-05 headlights in terms of lighting performance. Nissan also made them look sick, IMO

 

I love my 06 head lights Bi-Xenon OWNS earlier models. The interior is alot better to. Hazard light is moved to a WAY better location, Cup holders in the door, not made of cheapy plastic sticking out of dash. No gross amber strip on the headlight UGH. Only thing I dont like about my 06 is the extra 200lbs it gained, But its ok, with my mods, it overcame that flaw =) 271.8 whp 260.7 trq un-tuned, internals untouched, stock header, no reflash =) But then again, its a priviledge just to OWN a Z. We are all so lucky

 

You will find LOTS of people wanting to change from the 05' headlights to the 06', but your will not find anyone willing to change their 06' headlights for the 05' model.

 

I think the 06 headlights are pimp, first i thought they were goofy looking, but as anything they'll always grow on you because im starting to like them now. And the Bi xenons are so pimp just like in my mom BMW X5!

I haven't driven or ridden in an 06 to speak for the "lighting performance" of the 06 v. my 03 headlights, however I know I get "flashed" all the time in my 03 because people think I'm high-beaming them, when I'm really not...

i have nothing against 06 headlights, i have no problems seeing very clearly at night with 04 xeons, i would never pay to have mine changed to 06's. if i had 06's xeons, i wouldnt want to switch to the earlier models either.

I agree with you on the paying portion. Paying 1200 for upgraded headlights is a joke IMO, I would much rather spend that money somewhere else (wheels, suspension, engine, exhaust, F/I fund ).
