Did they take out the airbags or something cuz I didn't see them deploy during that crash. That looked like a very hard and nasty crash, good thing no one cracked their head into the windshield... nasty nasty!

 

Very happy I didn't buy the megan racing coilovers now. Sure didn't work on that car.

 

looks like he was aiming for the tree. I didn't see him make one turn. Must have been the coilovers.

 

The Coilovers had nothing to do with what had happend.. that was the driver

the Z was handling great prior to this. so all those cheap Megan coilover jokes can stop... it was the driver change...the brakes did lock (as seen in the video) and if you listen to the video, the driver stopped with the throttle after the initial understeer and looked like he got on it again after a split second (clutch kick?) and that when the fronts locked...

this happened this past Sunday, march 5th @ Qualcomm stadium in San diego @ Drift Circuit #3...

 

so they pulled the ABS fuse along with VDC ?
thats dangeous...

 

thats the only way to get our Zs past 30 degrees of yaw w/o VDC kicking in, even with the button set to 'off'

Anthony, Brandon, Jeff, Joe.. and I.. we all do it when we're @ Drift day...

i know i yanked the center console plug and ABS works
and i can get sideways now...

ok so for any of you guys who have disabled VDC in the center console fuse, you still have ABS then? I'm pretty sure it still works, but want more feedback if anyone has any
