Brilliant move on turning off the ABS and expect the brakes to not lock up.

I mean look, going in that hot he was screwed. But I would have at least blipped the handbrake just to TRY and get the car around! It was a damn drifting event as it was!

Sorry, I don't buy it -- because I've had mine sideways with VDC off and nothing happens that isn't initiated by me.

Anthony, Brandon, Jeff, Joe.. and I.. we all do it when we're @ Drift day...
There are a couple of ways to disable the VDC without loosing the ABS, I would not disable the ABS, clearly if this driver had ABS working the car wouldnt be wrecked.

Wow. I can't believe they set the track up like that. The cones are right along the curb and this is right after a straight.

I heard they might chastize that venue or promo. running that event. Is that possible considering the motorsports in the Qualcomm lot have expected hazards?

iirc there are pics of a red s2k floating around that wrecked @ the same event, in the same turn.
imo, that's mostly the fault of the course layout / designers...

I love how many backseat drivers there are on here / and how many of you jump to criticize.

No more drifting at Qualcomm.
People need to realize -- we need insurance and sites, but they don't need us.
