Just curious, does anyone know exactly how many 2003 Track model Z's were produced for the U.S.? And does anyone know how many Daytona Blue ones were made? I read somewhere that there were 350 2003 track model Z's ever produced for the U.S. but that was from some nobody. I'd like to see proof or at least some numbers. Thanks.

Nissan doesn't publish official numbers for colors, trims, etc.

 

is that 36.000 Track model Z's? Or 36,000 over all sales for the U.S. There is no way they made 36,000 Track mode Z's for 2003. That must be the overall number of Z's made in 2003.

I did see somewhere but a listing of which colors were most produced. It didn't give numbers but did give an idea how rare your color might be.

But when I went back to find where I saw it I couldn't find it anymore.

Just like everybody is trying to find out how many of their favorite color was produced, how many automatics, etc.

Companies don't like to divulge detailed marketing information. It's almost "top secret" as they prefer that competitors know as little about their sales trends as possible.

 

Found the numbers for you. 3259 Track editions produced that year, 346 of them were daytona blue. I found those numbers inside a box of cracker jacks as my prize instead of the normal cool temp tattoos. Peace. BEN

 

It's hard to believe that they would release that information via cracker jack surprises.

304 Daytona Blue Track model Zs were made in 2003. I've got one of them here in Missouri.
