Army Guy here. Just wanted to say hello to all the Military Z owners out there. I got two more months in the desert and then it's home to FT.LEE and then to Korea. Anyone drove in Korea?

i thought that if you went to korea that you werent allowed to take a vehicle?

maybe its different for the different branches.. who knows

 

Oh, If your married and command sponsored your able to take one vehicle at Government expense.

 

Command sponsored just means that the unit your going to allows for your spouse to come with you. They figure you need a vehicle to get around.

 

ah makes sense... yeah all the guys i've talked to are single and I dont know of any married couples that went that could take their spouses with em

Lol Yea Iraq paid for my Z. I had a blast literally in iraq. I actually want to go back but now that I have the Z I might not.

Lol I once had grand dreams of being a Marine O but uh after seeing what some Plt Cmdrs told us to do I realized that you must lose some of your brain in OCS lol

Of course I mean that with the utmost respect to all of you Sirs/Ma'ams out there.

I think they should give us Z's in iraq then no one could catch us and no ied's could hit us because we all know that iraq is the one place where speed doesn't kill. It'll save ur ***

 

i catch alot of flak from fellow lcpls all the way up to gunny's.
i just smile and say i dotn know how i do it. then ask my friends how much money they have at the end of the month. they always say zero. im the same but i have somethign to show for my money!

I just started getting paid E-5 but im in a bind i dont know weather to get the z or get a condo or townhouse...lol

I still got 6k left to cover me for any extra expenses. Yea lots of my boys ask how much it cost and how much insurance is etc.

And they all say man thats nice and stuff and I'm like yea but damn its still just a car.
