Well I would assume by dynoing in the correct gear they might be slightly higher. I think you would see a small gain in HP, but a larger gain in TQ. I would try and go back and see if you could swing a free pass or two in 5th and see what the differences are. And see if they are SAE corrected.

Yeah, your numbers are high too because you used a DynoPack. It removes rotational mass of the rims and tires from the equation and raises the results. How much is hard to say... depends on teh weight and size of the rims and tires, but you can probably expect to drop at least 10whp from your plot with them on.
i know that dynopack read higher than dynojet. but from all the dynopack result of 06 i saw on the forum, i think mine is the highest.

I hit 272whp 261 trq on a dynojet. SAE Corrected numbers would be around 262whp 251 trq I believe. The Mrev plus brought my mid range torque up alot. And yes, the highest numbers came from 5th gear.

i just want to double check... so on a dynapack, 5th gear is the 1:1 ratio for manual transmissions and not 4th.... right?

Not just on a dyno pack, ANY dyno you run the manual should be in 5th gear, the auto in 4th. That is my understanding.

will have more accurate results later this week, car is getting re-dynoed in 5th gear this time, and then dynoed again 3-4 more times to see gains from custom catback system. previous results were sae corrected.

Call me a Newb, but won't the same car dyno at different #s on different days on different dynos with different temperatures, etc?? SO how do you REALLY tell how much HP/TrQ you really have?? The only equalizing factor would be to dyno the same car on the same dyno at same environmental factors AFTER doing mods to tell what the gains are for that particular car. I have a hard time believing that one stock Z would dyno 40 more WHP over another. That would be like 2 different cars.

the previous dyno result i had are being tossed. The car will be redynoed over and over again, each time with a different part of the catback system, and then finally with the complete system on. the car will never come off the dyno, therefor the readings will be more accurate since it will be done around the same temperature and other variables will be consistent.
