It was a dark parking lot and as I was backing out slowly I bumped into a friends car front fender/tire. I couldn't f'ing believe it! I haven't hit anything in 20 years. Anyways, it was so dark out I couldn't see anything so I give him my Ins card and said to claim it if it's dented, which I think it is. My car on the other hand faired ok. I was able to buff it all out except a very small scratch. Still sucks!
Pic:
Red is the small scratch and the green is what I buffed out.I know I should have took a b4 pic but I wanted to get it cleaned up, wasn't thinking about posting at the time.

Actually I was going to post a thread about this, if you look in the photo stein has uploaded that white reflector is pushed in and just floating around im my car, I cant seem to get behind it to snap it back in. Any ideas??
I did the exact same thing when I had my car for the first two weeks. I wasn't use to the rear restricted view. It was dark, my friends legend was black and I backed right into him.
It happens to the best of us. Now you have an excuse to buy a aftermarket rear bumber!

.... that's some horrible damage, I would bring your car in to see if your frame is bent
edit: Your friend probably has $300 deductible or something silly, I'd probably recommend just telling him to get a few estimates and pay it out of pocket... your insurance rates will love you.

I opted to just have him claim it through my Ins. My g/f had a simular insident last year and her Ins hasn't went up. Hope for the best!
bamyi, I will eventually get a new rear/sides but for now I am happy with it as she sits.
angelico, no idea. I looked under there and it is closed off. sorry...
HighSide107, I used 3M Perfect-It ll Rubbing Compound Fine Cut with a elec buffer and then waxed it afterwards. Even took some of the orange peel out.
HighwaySpeed, no I didn't spill my drink, I finished it before I left
Had 3 beers over a 3 hour period.
rythex, I wish I would have taken pic b4 I cleaned it all up. Many would have taken it to a body shop it was so scuffed up.
