Default Grinding noise when I slow down

I just bought an 03 z and everytime i slow down with or without braking it makes a grinding noise. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Sorry if i sound like an amateur, that's probably because I am.

Decided to answer your question, it’s called tire feathering. I just bought a 03 at a killer price (knowing this problem) and have come to the realization I have the same problem. I am crossing my fingers that a good alignment will fix the problem, but for the time being im loving the car. Check the inside of your front tires that might answer your question. Remember to take care of the fuel line recall from Nissan.

For those '03 owners with feathering, Nissan had a recall on the feathering. If this applies to you, you might get free set of front tires and alignment FREE. Check with a dealer near you.

No no no... I think he's talking about flywheel chatter. That's normal. It happens right below 3000 rpm for mine, and I have the stock flywheel.
