what do u use ur car for?
street driving keep it stock (35psi?)
drag = less (more tire on the ground)
drft/autox = more (less tire roll when sliding)
(im running 38psi on the street)

Maximum recommended tire pressure is written on the side of the tire. The only situation that I can think of where you might exceed maximum recommended tire pressure is autocross.

not to hijack your thread or anything.. but our factory recommended tire pressure is 35psi when tires are cool, correct? when i fill it up to 35, it goes up to 38/39 after i drive it around a while and i feel as if i may not be getting as much traction as i should be. so should i only have it at 32 so when it warms up it's at the recommended tire pressure? again sorry to hijack your thread, this just popped up in my head

Correct. The recommended tire pressure is 35 PSI cold. Cold is in the morning before the car have been driven.

Why are you getting an error screen? The only time it should show up like that is if the TPS senses that you pressures are too low (like below 27-28PSI); fill them up to recopmmended pressure and it should automatically go away with a little driving.

Regardless of what tires you are running, you should go with the recommeded PSI for the CAR (35 PSI cold) for street use, unless, like noted above you are racing and have different requirements.

Not sure. I don;t think there is a standard for that. You just have to let some air out of one tire and drive a little ways, then you'll be able to tell.
