What I found funny about the s2k thread was the top up or down comments. Seems to be a big point of contention.

thats a good point. sorry i wasn't clear about what i said. i meant most hondas are FWD and those are the guys that blame losing races to weight of someone in the car. (civic, integra, rsx, etc..)

My best friend owns a 2002 s2k, we work together, so basically every night we race home. He and I both agree that it's a driver's race. Though the Z has the advange with it's torque. Who ever gets out of the "hole" first basically wins. From a roll, we are dead even till 110, and then we give up. I usually end up winning. The s2k's are tricky to launch he either boggs or roasts the tires, and i'll pull a good 1-2 cars on him. There have been a few times where he got a good launch and we had a close race. Both are stock with just a popcharger.

I tried both and the S2k does have more precise steering response regardless of engine power.

there was a single turbo s2k up at the track this sunday. he had some funny car slicks on the rear and was only running 13.7's. he had the hood open showing it off before he ran... i wanted to tell him nice show car after i watched the run cause thats about all it was good for.

ya but the same happened at my track with a Z. He was showing off his Stillen supercharger but then only backed it up with a 13.3! That might impress some, and i guess if it was just the basic Stillen kit with no upgrades he wasnt far off I guess, but he was sure talking a big game!
