Default 06 forged internals?

i keep seeing people refer to the 06 as having forged internals, yet i havent seen it advertised anywhere. i would think nissan would....or better yet i would think a bunch more 06 would be under the knife already. does anyone have any concrete proof?

I think he's referring to the rumor that the 06 "Rev-Up" engine has stock, beefier forged internals from Nissan. I've heard this rumor too but don't know there's any truth to it. I'm interested to find out though, since I drive an 06.

They are just different rod bolts from what I know. The internals are the same except for beefier rod bolts.

What supra said makes perfect sense. I've heard the rod bolts are failure prone past 7200rpm, so considering the redline has been bumped up to 7000rpm, it would make sense for nissan to upgrade them.

How did you get a reflash on a 06? I have talked to TS and they said no reflash has been created yet for the 06. They quoted me 2-3 months ETA. Also the price you paid, thanks.
