Default Wierd Noises From Under My Car!!!

So i need some help here guys. Today i started up my car and my radio was off (which it normally isn't) and i noticed a wierd noise coming from the passenger side of my car while it was idling. My gf who was sitting there said she could feel something knock everytime the noise showed up. I own a 2003 Touring and never had this problem b4. Has anyone else come across something like this??

Is it a manual. Because sometimes when you're in neutral or have the clutch engaged the tranny makes some noise and vibration.

Are you sure she wasn't farting? I'd be pissed, if somebody farted in my z. It could be anything, but sounds like a tranny issue.

LOL...nah she wasn't farting or else i might still be passed out
But yea my car is a manual and it was in nuetral @ the time. It's just that i never had such a noise b4. I'm concerned because i've heard that '03 Z's are prone to have tranny issues

All cars make weird noises. But weird does not necessarily mean broken. If you are concerned, take the car to a trusted mechanic.

i have driven Z's for 15 years and it seems they have kept yet another "feature" from the lineage....if your car is still under warranty you might get a new clutch to boot....press the dealership for it because you are so distraught that your 30k sports car is making a noise in the drivetrain after only 3 years

I'd be surprised if it was the throwout bearing if it is in neutral with the clutch engaged. You're probably hearing the idle gear. Note: if the noise goes away when you push the clutch pedal in, then it isn't the throwout bearing.
