Default Battery Acid Leakage

I went to reset my ECU after work and found that my battery was leaking acid. I bought the car used but was sure that it was a new battery. I just picked up the car from the dealership yesterday for the fuel recal. But I don't think they did it. I never had my battery leak ever and concerned about the what damage it could cause if I don't change it besides the battery going dead.

Anybody have the same problem with their Z and what happens if I don't change it by tommorow?

batteries go bad eventually. save yourself trouble and get a new one from an auto parts or walmart with warranty. its better than your car nor f ing starting when you need it too.

If you see any sort of moist spots under the battery, throw some baking soda on it to neutralize the acid. Seeing as how you will need to replace your battery anyway, get one of those neutralizing mats to sit the new one on to prevent the possibility of any future leaks damaging the paint and possibly even the structure or the car.

Has anyone ever replaced the battery themself? The fuse box is all in the way and it doesn't look that easy.
