I'd say stay away from headers unless you go with crawford cause as far as I can recall those are the only ones that really added some noticeable power. Plus the header install will most likely be > $500 to install as it's a pain of a pain in the *** to install.

You'll want to keep another $10-15k handy for a new motor after you hit the NOS the first time and blow your connecting rods into the pavement. And no, I'm not kidding.

Realistically, a good solid setup would include a built long block with the APS TT & an EMS w/guages, so in total with installation cost it'll run you over $22k. Still wanna do FI?

They just don't know. I keep telling them but they stuff like "Your numbers are way off. I can get a Greddy kit for under $4K, where did $15K come from?" Remember the guy that thought he was going to do an RB26DETT swap for around $3900 including all necessary parts? Let these kids fix up one car first and then they will know better the next time.

Please stop typing in all CAPS!!!!

BTW - start with a budget and plan to go over by about 25-40%. Then start buying parts.
