Default Check Engine Soon Light..... did search...

Found nothing. My Checke engine soon light came on on the run home tonight. Nothing seems wrong with my Z. Has anyone else had this happen?

Weird

have you filled up with gas lately, check that your gas cap is on tight.

I had and I did. My Wife reminded me of that little problem... So how many times do I have to start my Z before it goes away....

It'll usually clear in 24-48 hours but you can either disconnect the battery overnight and reconnect it.

OR you can do the ECU reset sequence found here:

kinda seems like what i went through when i first got my Z... what happened was a throttle assembly relay, and i got it fixed and the SES went on again. took it back to nissan and they just gave me a brand new ECU. never came on again... btw what year is your Z?

well there is a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT (CEL) and a SERVICE ENGINE SOON (SES) light. The CEL should not be ignored. The SES will reset itself eventually if the condition does not reoccur. You should get the code read to be sure of whta it is - autozone will read it for free for you.
