With gas prices sky rocketing I was just wondering how many people put premium, plus or regular unleaded? I know I put Premium in mine and only Cheveron.

 

i would never put anything less then premium..

 

i use shell, V-Power all the way!

 

I use the best 87 that money could buy when I feel rich, but when I'm broke, I use regular 87 mixed with a few gallons of corn oil to save money.

 

If you cannot afford to put Premium in your 350z, you should be driving a Toyota Echo or some **** like that.

 

I don't understand why people complain about spending $3 more for a tank of gas which is recommended to use by Nissan BTW. Buy one less cafe latte per week if it bothers you so much.

Chevron or Shell 93 only...I laugh at inferior fuels!

 

It makes me laugh when some people say our prices here are high or out of control...

Many other places, like most of Europe... China, etc... Pay twice as much as us and have paid more than us for quite some time now.

So it could be much worse.

And like the Sticky'ed thread at the top of this section, per the manual... If you decide to use regular 87 octane which can damage your motor, I would do like suggest...

Sell the car before doing that and getting something that is designed for regular.

 

I wonder if people on the vette or porsche forums suggest using less than premium... or if that ghetto-ness is only reserved for the Z

 

I call to ban the next idiot who complains about the price of gas or suggests to use anything less than 91 octane fuel.

 

 

I think 91 octane gas is tooooo price-y we should use 71 lol

Dam*, might have to cut back on the f*gs and the lattes at Starbucks. Might have to go to Carl's less and Jack's more. Perhaps I could get a job mowing lawns on the weekends... oh, wait a minute. I don't suffer from cheapitis. I'm certainly not going to take out my frustrations on my car. Price of milk's going up too. Of course, I'm not going to force the kids to eat cereal and water. Think of it this way- at least you are not driving a V8 and you still be lookin' good and stylin' mon!

 

shell's what i use too.

you don't want to use gas that has ethanol as an oxygenator. the manual mentions this and other oxygenators that can screw up the Z's fuel lines. many gas stations list their oxygenating agent on the pump, but some don't. if they don't, i get back in my car and look for a shell station.

 

I purchased my Z used with 22k miles. She stated that she filled it up with PLUS unleaded since she got it. Got fuel injection cleaned out, and always filled it up with PREMIUM ever since. Actually notice little improvement on power.

 

i use watered down ethonol

 

It's more costly than regular, but I use PREMIUM Unleaded Fuel ONLY!

 

Shell around here uses Ethanol.

 

I use premium, but drive faaaaar less.
