Default Ok now im really confused

I have posted this before and the only answer I got was "your tires were prob spinning"

Today i was driving home, and i accelerated maybe a little too fast. The roads were dry. Then while accelerating i notice that the SLIP lightshows up and I cannot accelerate unless i let go of the gas and then reapply.... Happened 2 times in 2 different occasions while adding gas (2-3 gear or so)

Is there any way this can be the clutch? I know my tires were not spinning since after the 1st time it went one... i tured off my music, and tried to replicate it.

Clutch? Or something else?

Thanks

Do you have stock wheels and tires? How many miles are on the tires? I was starting to have problems with the slip light coming on during even slightly hard acceleration on dry pavement. The rears were close to worn out so I replaced the tires the problem went away.

I only got that problem when it was cold out and tires didn't have a chance to warm up.

i don't see how the slip light would come on if your clutch was slipping. A slipping clutch would have no effect on the rear wheels (except that you would lose some power to them). You've got 20k miles on the rears...I think it's getting time to replace them.

The ABS sensors determine if the tires are spinning. So theoretically the clutch is not the problem. My light comes on too but I never hear the tires spin but I do see black tire marks on the pavement.

TCS is sensitive, The SLIP light come ON when the tires, ummm, slip. Its not necessary to spin the tires.
