Black_Sunshine, if you dont want to help, dont "try" to help at all! If this happened to you i'm most certainly positive you aren't going to shrug your shoulders and say "eh, its 500 bucks"...i highly doubt it.

Who said I was trying to be helpful? I'm not finding your post especially helpful, only argumentative.

Actually, I probably would. That's how insurance works. I'd probably say, "Whew, glad I didn't go with the $1000 deductible!".

Well, I'll give you props for actually paying for all of this stuff yourself.

I wasn't trying to be a d*ck (as everyone seems to think), I was asking an honest question.

I dropped 100 bucks on Zaino which i applied only three days earlier (which im the most pissed about, after she gets painted ill have to restart!!! its gonna be a pita) I bought a emanage and exhaust too. All of that happened just weeks before the incident. Not to mention everything else ive done to the car (suspension and bolt ons and extra oem parts). I just wasnt expecting this to happen, nor was i prepared.
This is in line with what I've been saying....

Glad it worked out for you. That's better than trying to cobble parts together to get your ride fixed.

I'd likely just call my insurance and take it to a body shop rather than posting pictures here and looking for sympathy.

I know you and your blue-faced, xenophobe friends can't handle people that are not afraid to post a differing thought and opinion, but I refuse to take part in your little c*csucking party in order to gain favor and popularity here.

Get a life.

Xenophobe? Are you one of those guys who thinks the only reason people don't agree with you is because of your enlightened thought process?

BTW, I promise not to *** in your mouth.

Life is full of unexpected surprises, you will have to be prepared to pay for those expenses irregardless whose fault it is.
