nissan claimed 5.4 for 2003's
a 2004 track was tested by motortrend and it did 5.3
usually it is quoted more like 5.6 and up the 2006's have even been quoted as high as 5.8

Here's a non-official source that is good to reference-
http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html
Times range from 5.3 to 5.8secs.
Like DavidV said - 0-60 times are going to vary depending on who does the testing. There are so many factors invloved.

Motortrend always gets the fastest times. They must have some really good drivers

Now thats just not true, MotorTrend has usually the slowest times of cars tested. Car and Driver has the fastest by far. I subscribe to both and car and driver must be going down hill or something because their times are very fast compared to anything else. 06 Z06 vette 0-60 in 3.4! 06 F430 ferrari 0-60 3.5! Damn man now thats fast.

Ya. That Veyron is ridiculous. Hits 120 faster than my old TSX hit 60.

The 0-60 times are useless, seeing they are performed by professional drivers.
Like everyone else said, it all depends on the driver.

Have you seen the chrysler ME412? I think its smaller than the veyron. Though it would have a 150HP or so disadvantage.
