at around 160mph shift to 7th gear overdrive and make sure your seatbelt is on...gonna be warp speed for teh win!

If you don't need the power in 6th, and just gradual acceleration, then putting it into 6th at 45-50 mph is fine, since you're at like 2000 RPM, and not bogging down the engine. I think the manual even says this speed is ok to put it into 6th. Only reason to put it in this gear at this speed is probably to save some gas..

Don't shift into 6th so early, and certainly don't use it to accelerate at that speed. You're lugging the engine. It can be hard on the bearings.

7th gear? Isn't that the one marked R on the shifter...It means Race. All the way to the right and back...

I just got mine a couple of days ago as well so i shift every time i get close to 4k mark and it is starting to drive me nuts shifting at that point ....must......keep...beast ...in....check....want to....rrrrrreeeeeeevvvvvvv

It's not the speed it's the rpm.. never have 6th geark under 2k. I'd say 2.5k is healthy.
