oh damn..good luck with that. Or you can put the plastic cover on the bumper (the same kind as you see on new car before they drop it off at the dealer)

just make sure you bring one of those all in one air compressor/light/tire changing kits, bring a tire iron just to make sure, bring a blanket, water, toilet paper, a machete, baseball bat and some condoms.

thats what i brought last time i did some cross country,
oh and don't forget the ham+eggs+cheese+potato sandwich.

its way good.

You should get that clear protective bra like thing that is seen on most new ferrari's, and other high-end cars.

Just go for the blue painters tape, that used commonly on the tracks. most cover the entire bumper, headlights, side areas where the wheels could throw rocks at, and sometimes the front edge of the roof line. I used it before tripling up on some key areas. It doesnt normally leave anything behind but if it gets hot and left on for a long time there can be some left over residue

it comes in 1/4" to 4" width rolls but commonly only 1/2" and 1" rolls can be found in a hardware store, else try online

Racers put painters tape on the front of the car to protect it from cones. Every so often you hit a cone, and it leaves a big orange mark. A couple layers of tape will help with rocks.

I got one for you...when i drove my candy painted accord from Texas to Delaware (1600 miles)....Simply have a windex bottle filled with WATER...And some seran wrap(however u spell it)...Spray water on the kit....and piece seran wrap there...a little on the bottom of the hood..and just a little on the mirrors. Trust me...it sticks like gum...and every few hundred miles or when u pit stop check it...1 roll and 1 bottle of windex with water...the kinds that sprayss...try it before u knock it...bc it works!
