Default Driving

I just bought a used 2004 350z track. I just started driving manual and I wanted to know if anyone had any tips for me.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Do a search; I think there are some other threads that deal with your issue that might help you out. Otherwise, just take it slow and easy until you get the hang of it and don't ride the cluth so as not to burn it. Enjoy the car (love my '03 Track); just grow into it slowly and figure out what you're doing before you try to get ballsy with it.

Push both the clutch and the gas all the way to the floor. Then let out on the clutch.

Large, empty parking lot. Practice, practice, practice

You won't hurt the Z.

I taught myself to drive stick in an 86 Rx7. What ***** that clutch was.

Haven't drove stick in a few years, so I had to remeber when I bought the Z.

Kinda like riding a bicycle; you never forget.

If you can, find a driving class near you. Seriously. Learning from an expert is way better than just practicing on your own when you don't really know what you're doing.

You just gotta learn how to start up an incline using the e brake to keep you from rolling backward. If you don't learn to do this on a deserted incline you are going to very very sorry.
