that is what i was planning on doing, going with Mobil1. I don't know much about oil's but I live in Florida and it is at least like 93 here every day until October. What is the differences in the #'s on the oils and what is best for hot weather.

Dealer changed oil yesterday with synthetic blend . Whatever that means. I provided a k&n oil filter...has to be better than stock. Next go round I will go full synthetic forever.

the dealership that i got my Z (performance nissan, duarte CA), didnt offer any first free oil changes. they do offer sythetic blend motor oil for $19.99. i would recommend you do ur own changes tho...and that u use royal purple.

since this is a topic about oil change, does anyone know if the dipstick on the Z goes straight down to the oil pan. I ask because on Mercedes and BMW is like that and changing oil is such a breeze using a fluid extractor.
