Funny you say that because the exact opposite happened to me earlier this week. I was next to a Black G35C on my way to work for a few miles and the guy wouldn't even look my way. He seemed to be the snobby rich type with his thickblackframe Ebiz allstar glasses. Oh well.

 

I get smiles and waves from everyone but the G35 and Z3 drivers. I guess they think they are special. The last G35 guy gave me a dirty look for waving at him, as if I had given him the finger.

 

What's a G25C? They slap a 4 banger in a coupe?

I came close to buying a G35C. I love them. What was funny was a few weeks ago, there were 3 people in a G35C going down the interstate as I came off the ramp. They were more excited about seeing my Z than I think I was about seeing their G35C. They got over and slowed down to let me roll by them. I gave them a nice wave and a thumbs up, and they all waved at me. Made me laugh. They've got the rarer car, after all

I get props from just about every car, from people in the new SL500 (man is that one beautiful car) to a **** can that blows smog, they all have nice things to say. First question out of everyone is 'how much?' They always can't believe how inexpensive the Z is.

I too will always acknowledge other sports cars, or anyone for that matter who acknowledges first. Although, I have yet to see a Z while I'm out in mine (other than the Z meets). Seems like they all disappear when I come out.

Just like Droid has encountered in Dallas (which btw Addison must be the SC430 Capitol of the USA, I swear I see 5-7 of them every time I lay over there), Here in Atlanta, whether driving my Z or G35c, the G35c drivers never acknowledge my high beam flash or wave.
