For those of you with a MT, do you do more than 80% of your driving in city?
Before I start working I am about 60-40 city/highway or even more. Once I start working and commuting on the highway that will go down a lot. This is good because premium gas costs a lot.

Oh there is PLENTY of that around here. Problem is, there is not too many ways to get where I am going, and the local roads would be worse than 10 mph stop/go on the highway. Welcome to CT.
i commute from diamond bar to ucla every other day, 3 times a week.
it's 45 miles one way, and yes, i'm on the highway for 40 of the 45 miles. however, driving on those freeways are worse than local....my record has been 2.5 hours of being in 1st gear...it's awesome
but yea, have owned all manual cars ever since i could drive, and will never spend money to buy an automatic. unless somebody force me to take a MB AMG for free

also something you might want to consider.. given teh z isnt exactly the cheapest car in the world.. jobs in cities usually pay better.. meaning people commuting around in cities or living in cities are more likely to be able to justify/afford a 2 seater sports car..
I'm mostly city, after they replaced my tranny, luckily the clutch became a little softer. I wish my seat would go back further (I have a ZR). If I'm in rush-hour city traffic for more than an hour my leg starts to get tired.
But I wouldn't trade my manual for anything.

I used to get a lot more road rage with the manual than I do in the auto bimmer.. it's much more relaxing for commutes.. I just MIS MIS MISSS that manual when there's no cars in front of me..
