Couple weeks ago i was washing my car and as i was doing the hose thing, the passenger window came down automatically??? The keys were not in the ignition?? I didnt think anything of it. Today I came home from work and went in the house. My brother tells me my window is down I say no there not he says YES THEY ARE!! so i check and guess what it is open. Whats the problem Here , Its under warrenty so ill take it in . 2003 Enthusiest

Are you sure its not the key fob?

the remote. If you hold down the unlock button the windows role down. Im sure that was it.

 

But the key fob puts down both windows...not just the passenger side. People have been complaining about window issues on the earlier cars. You might want to get the wiring checked out.

 

on my 03 touring, the passenger window goes up and comes back down when you use the auto up feature. when you hold the button the window stays up

 

Mine did that a while back and at some point they stopped working all together. They had to replace the motor. My other window just started doing it as well. I came out to my car the other day and one of my windows was half way down...

 

I'm having issues with my passenger window. It wont' move at all right now. Trying to figure out if I'm going to have to replace the motor or regulator.

 

You have to reset the motor sir, common problem. do a search for window reset and you should find the answer to your windows that roll back down 1/4 after using the auto up feature.

 

mine has been having probs. 2 times it wouldnt move at all and it does the roll up and 4 inches back down thing. well it did the 4 inches yesterday.... then wouldnt move at all. i was pissed at first and i told my gf(who was in the pass seat) to just it the door in the spot where the motor is. so she hit it good and the bi tch started working again. i've gotta do something about it soon
