Luckily, there were no injuries. I'll spare you the sob story; suffice to say that i really wish people like that wouldn't be allowed to drive. There is now a HUGE dent in my door, but other than that there appears to be no damage. The door is still fully functional, including the window, etc. So what do i do now? Am i gonna need a new door, and if so, how much will that cost? If not, how much would it cost to repair the existing one?
...i really wish people like that wouldn't be allowed to drive...
I agree. It is the worst in Florida, omg. These drivers are the worst! And they all have money... so you witness them driving like **** in their ferarris, mercedes, bmws, etc. It is damn near blasphemous!

If all the inside bits in your door are still good (window motor, mechanism, glass, door panel, etc) you hsould be able to get a good door shell for about 300 bucks from a junk...err....salva....errr auto recycler. Go to www.car-part.com, and start making phone calls. It's gonna be cheaper to get a door (even if you have to paint it your color) then to get it fixed (and KNOW it's gonna get painted).
try to find away to work something out with the other driver insurance company is usually the last thing I would do...And I work for an insurance company
