Default Idle at what RPM?

My Z idles at 700-750 rpm w/o A/C
and 900 rpm with A/C.

Is that low? Do I need to raise it?
What are yours?

No it's not low.
You don't need to raise it.
In fact, you can't raise it unless you have a 2003 Z.

Starting in 2004, the Z got a ULEV engine (Ultra Low Emission Vehicle). The Consult II tool that Nissan uses to control the ECU does not allow changes to the idle setting for the ULEV engines.

Not that I would ever bother (why?), but I didn't know you could change idle on an '03.

Some people have problems after certain mods (cams, intake, etc.) that caused them to have low and/or erratic idle speeds. The solution in a lot of cases was to bump the idle up a little.
