Mine is a stock 03 Touring 6MT. Only mod is a JWT Popcharger Intake system....also my daily driver. Get a Popcharger at the very least, you will love your Z even more just for the incredible sound it makes at WOT.

Don't worry, stick around, the mod bug will bite you soon enough.

I agree realdeal.

I've had mine for over 2 years and it's still stock, if that tells you anything. Window tint, k&n drop-in, and spare/jack delete. It still puts a smile on my face.

Some of these kids start modding their Z like it's some kind of civic and can't extract 100% of the performance out of the car in stock form, yet they feel the need to make it even faster.

To each their own!

RealDeal24, do you really need any more power? Does anyone really need any more power? Well, nobody needs more power, the Z already dominates most of the cars on the road. But the real question is, do you want more power. Well, that is a different story entirely.

Keeping a vehicle stock or modding the **** out of it is completely the choice of the owner. Some people, although they may not fully use the power of the vehicle on the street, actually want the ability to be able to use it if they wanted to. It is just not fast enough for them. Others are content with the performance of their Z and see no reason to mod it.

If anything, mod it with at least the JWT Pop Charger, as stated above. The sound above 4000rpms sounds amazing and will turn heads as they say, "what was that?!"

However, as vo7848 stated, beware that while you may feel content with the current stock look/performance/sound of your Z, it only takes one or two mods for most people to get addicted to modding like crazy.

Either way, you drive a great car, so enjoy it!

i keep mine stock as much as possible except for K&N drop-in, Y-pipe, underdrive pulley and tokico struts. All inexpensive DIYs.

stock z is powerful as is. you'll beat 90% of the cars on the street.. bolton modding is just for fun and not really worth all the money and hassle.

mine is stock, but then i just got my car. so i think it will stay that way for a while except minor lighting and accents stuff... no engine mods at all. afterall, getting the car is already an upgrade from my SLK

SLK to 350Z
HP 187 to 287

I've been driving mostly stock for the last year and half. Only changes I made were brake pads, better brake fluids, and stainless steel brake lines. My project car took all my money away.

...and on a more serious note, most 350Zs on the road are stock. If you spend time here, it seems just the opposite. Consider that there are more than 120,000 350Zs on the road. How many of those owners are active members here?

Well mine's still in the shop, but I have some 19" Ruff's waiting for it. I'll probably pick up a K&N cone filter for it later. I would love to turbo it, but since I'm starting school this fall that's out of the question.
