I've got the Michelin Sport Pilots - they're fine in the rain. I feel more secure in the Z than I do in the Maxima. No problems at all. I've driven in very heavy downpours.

I Fixed up my Dad's old 87 Ranger and have used it now for the past year to keep miles off my Z (Saved 18K so far). I take the Z out when I enjoy it the most, make my wax jobs last for more than two days lately.

fukk yeah I drive it in rain, i'd drive it in snow if it snowed down here in Oceanside CA. only thing im afraid of is riding in the snow...(done that a long time ago when I was still at Great Lakes)

So it's the TIRES that matter in the rain.
