I don't drive it in the rain, only because it's a PITA to perfectly detail everything again (wheel wells, and inner components).

I've driven in the rain with the top down on the highway (in light rain it doesn't come into the interior but people look at you funny).

And I drive in the snow. Its like slow motion drifting with the VDC off (and snow tires so you don't kill yourself).

I drove my Z in the rain several times this year already. I was scared at first because when the rain droplets hit my windshield I thought it would damage the glass. Also I was scared that the rain water would get into my air filter and eventually flood my engine. My greatest fear is rain water getting into my muffler via the exhaust tip and cause excessive back pressure. After driving in heavy rain, I went to check the body to see if any of the clear coat had been worn off. I'm happy to announce that my Z has been holding up pretty nicely in the rain.
