How is the black leather seats on a Z coupe?

Its really not that bad. I agree with everyone else, get a sunshield and tint if a little heat is gonna bother you. Once I get the windows down and A/C on after a few minutes, its fine. You'll love the leather seats once you see how they look and feel

I always use the remote window lowering with my black on black leather Z. It seems to get hot but I have a Nisimo aluminum shift **** to take my mind off of the hot leather. Now that is hot after sitting under sunlight for a few hours I also have 20% tinting and a sunshade for when parking in the sun. Either way though, the heat is a small price for the sleek appearance of the black leather

Seats themselves are fine in these hot days. My tint rejects 50% of the sun's heat and I have the Courtesy Nissan shade for the windshield so both help a lot of course. The cabin, on the other hand, is hotter than in any other car I've been in, during the first 10-15 minutes of getting in after being parked in the sun. Not that I mind, of course!

That is what I have in my LS. They aren't exactly black thought... According to Nissan, they're "charcoal"!

100% agreed.
This is the first car I ever had with leather seats, and I worried about that too! The previous owner had the rear window tinted, and I use one of those silvered windshield sunshades.
These things really DO make all the difference!
Most importantly, a windshield sunscreen will protect the dashboard and steering wheel from drying out, cracking, and giving off plasticizers which can coat your interior glass.
