That would be ROWDY if it were reversed... COWL INDUCTION-ish! This is a taste of the NISSAN / FORD merger before the papers are signed. The Z will have hood buldges and side scoops from now on, and ventelated quarter panels, and probably even true dual exhaust... ingheriting the stylings from the STANG.

im not really a fan of it either at this point, maybe if i could see it in person. The idea of the cowl induction style hood might have looked better and accomplished the same goal

look good on original Z, but not on Z33. How does that hood design related to any other designs on the body?

The hood kind of reminds me of those ugly Gold Fish, that look like they have huge tumors on their heads

Kinda looks like the Hump Back of Notre Dame is bending over in our engine compartment

I don't like it, even if its functional for dual-intake/supercharger/taller upper intake manifold, etc.

Well... I dunno, but I would hope that it is just a prototype. Maybe they just made a functional hood for the new engine so they could check the performance specs? Hopefully, they'll have some design guys clean it up for the production models so it looks cooler... mebbe some kinda scoop (if there was a cool way to put a scoop on a Z... low profile... dunno.) or something to make it look badass.

Prolly dreamin', huh? yah.

Seriously though, if u're judging ONLY on the pix, ya, the front view w/ THAT color is ugly, but how many of us actually saw this in person? We know the Z's looks are very deceiving on pix and it's 100x better in person 99% of the time.

W/ the intro of the Z in '03, they got the design right and I think the hump won't be any less when judged in person. It's a matter of adaptation.

Not to mention the color of the car can dynamically change the looks, and that is prolly one of those colors that makes the hump look like a woody.

I think you meant "60% of the time it works 100% of the time."
