Life is a never ending cycle of "I'm better than you cause"..... especially on the intraweb.

Don't sweat it man. Z owners cover a wide spectrum of society. You'll be hard not to offend someone or something in here.

Try out the politics or force-induction sections if you want a good @ss roast.

actually u dont miss out anything really...

I drove both automatic and manual.. i used to have a honda s2000 but now i am riding automatic 350z roadster... it is fun to shift back and forth with the manual.. u also get the rear u want right away...and the sound the engine made when u step on the gas is great but the automatic z sound great, i can also shift with auto/manual shifter...altho i cannot get the gear i want right away but ... i dont mind since traffic in california are crazy..i rather have automatic...

beside... the speed limit is 65 mph... automatic or manual.. i still have to obey the law.. sometimes i went 120 but that is a different story.. i am trying to say that with automatic or manual i still go from 0-65 roughly the same time... i am not a racer and i am sure many of u are not too.. so couple seconds.. what difference does it make??

plus if u have a wife or a daughter or a sister that want to drive your car and cant because it is mannual... u will feel bad about it...maybe u guys are rich u can buy both but some people are poor... or maybe they just put their family before them...

yet Z is more like a personal car but the majority of the time ur family member will want to drive it also..

so automatic is great for people with difficulties...mannual is for carefree ppl

I learned a lot of things from this thread today:

I am a Rich Carefree-Al Qaeda Z driver who spends no time in traffic and won't let my wife, daughter or sister drive my car!

ssssmasss - all in good fun man, but I get your point.

If it was really that important to your family to drive your Z I think they would learn to drive a mannual if thats all that was sitting in the driveway. Last time I heard there are women out there capable of driving a mannual. Most of them are probably better than you at it. If you are buying a vehicle for your family get a minivan. If I am the one driving it everyday then I'm getting what I want and I prefer a mannual

Pretty condescending towards women. It also makes it sound like automatic transmissions are meant for women.

So I am rich because I can afford a car for myself and my wife on a two person income?

How do you define people who buy 2 seater convertibles?

Are you talking about that rear add-on in your other thread or maybe something different altogether? Hard to say.

i have had my 03 DB w/ 5AT for almost 4 years now. its a fun car to drive but i do wish i had gotten a 6MT. even though i can drive in manual mode, you just never get that feeling of having a manual. I plan on eventually replacing it with a G35 or G37 w/ 6MT.
