I've been following the '07 release of the Z very closely since i am a potential buyer. From my understanding, new car releases are usually during Aug and March of every year. But given the info that the '07 is being released in Jan, does that mean the from now till Dec the Z will still be '06 not following the traditional Aug/Mar releases?

 

I am still a little confused on the issue of the 07 motor being different. I asked two friends of mine that work at nissan, different dealerships, and they both say that the 06 and the 07 will be the same. motor and all!! I'm not calling anyone wrong but I really want to buy a new Z. I just dont know if I should get one soon or wait.

 

If you read the sticky at the top of the forums, the one about charting the changes for the 2007, it talks about the new engine. It is actually not a NEW engine, per se, but it has some upgrades. It is still a VQ35, but instead of VQ35DE, it is a VQ35HR. Check the sticky to see the exact changes.

 

I have followed a long string of this elusive 15 year olds nonsense from a Subaru forum. If anything it is very enternaining. It makes me wonder why he continues to start threads like this, knowing it's a lie.

On another subject, I am enjoying this site very much, very informative.

 

How would the vehicle be called a 350 Z, should it be given anything but a 3.5 L engine? Yeah I think it'll maybe be just tweaked, like everyone's saying, for a better appeal in buying one. Probably some nice features added, etc..

 

Yeah this guy is a joke and the worst part about it is he takes up space that someone else could have used for informative information which is what this site is about. I wish he would get into **** or something and get the hell off this site....
