But will the 2007 have a new engine or will it be the same VQ35 engine the 2003 and 2006 Z33's have? Since the current engine already has alot of aftermarket parts in the market.

the 2005 track is the best model IMO to mod teh heck out of. The 2007 will have a new engine, and u'll probably have to wait for all the new mods. By the time ur ready to buy, all the mods will be cheaper, which they have been getting. When i first got my car, a good mod was always garanteed to be epxensive, and tuning was a *****. Now its getting better

330HP is plenty, just get an 07 and don't touch your car. I know my 287 is more than enough when 85% of the other cars on the road max out from 140-170HP. I'd say use your mod money to pay off your car faster and save the additional 4K interest.

I'd buy an 03-05 if you wanna turbo right away. I don't think there are even kits out for the 06's nevermind 07's (atleast some of the kits aren't ready for the 06)

^^^^ You are going to pay around almost 40K in cash to the dealer and empty out your bank account like that. Hmmmmm! Maybe if you are planning on keeping your car for years and years to come.

according to the reports it's not 30hp
VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6, rated at 306 horsepower - again this is based on the new HP rating speeds. So I'd proably say it's capable of producing about 20

1/4th of your bank account huh? So you have 160K and you want to settle for a 350z. Didn't come to your mind to use that 160K to pay off your house or perhaps upgrading it, but you decided to use 40K of it to pay for a car. Good luck!

Reading the autospies site (quickly)...
2007 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe
The Infiniti G35 coupe remains a standard-bearer in the sports coupe class since its introduction in 2003. For 2007, the standard VQ 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine produces 275 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque, while the G35 Coupe 6MT model generates 293 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
...
Enhancements to the 2007 G35 Coupe include:
· Standard Intelligent Key (not available on G35 Coupe 6MT)
· Standard auto on/off headlights
I didn't see any HR mentioned...(hopefully I didn't skip over anything)
