what's the point of going so fast on the streets? Why not just be like that at the track while not endangering the lives of others.
If anyone has a track nearby them and who has never raced on it please try it. By me simply going to the track every other week to drive as fast as I want I no longer feel the need to speed on the streets. I've had a ticket going 100+, it wasn't pretty

147 in our '03 Performance on West Texas back roads (absolutely straight and absolutely flat). Had to let off when a cross-wind caused some lift in the front end. We lived in Germany for several years with a Ford SHO Taurus and routinely travelled at 130+ with no problems. As to those who have replied that these speeds are unsafe, it is mostly matter of comfort and the proficiency of your fellow travellers on the road. Unfortunately, most places in Amerika are NOT safe at any speed.
