135 just the other day on this long, lonely stretch of road. Too bad there was a stop sign.

157 on the way back to the bay area from Thunderhill. A slight downhill helped but I'll never do it again...

+1!

I've taken my 05` R6 upto 155+ and i know it can go more, but there is now way in hell that a 600rr can do 178mph!

Haha..

Fastest ever i've done is on my bike @ 155+ was too fast to even see the gauge properly but remember seeing the 1-5-x haha..

2nd fastest in my Porsche Boxster which was 148mph.

Z's @ a 135mph so far, and dont wanna go faster than that...on the street.

Track days are well wroth the $175 guys! Spend it and thank me later

It's hella fast, slowing down is a bit tricky, but it's such a freakin rush. On I-65 southbound just north of Birmingham, by the way. I've been in the 150's several times, but only seen 160 once.
someone told me when i first got mine that his z governed at 161.

I have no way to prove it to you but it's not BS. I hit rev limiter on my 600rr 7 separate times on highway 74 just outside of phoenix last Christmas day. Each time it said between 176 and 178. The bike has a few normal mods and a 520 kit but the sprockets are the stock size. The speedo may be off, up to 120 it reads the same as my friend's R6 and my G (those I have tested). Above that who knows.

Also if you check the 600RR.net (the largest 600RR forum) there are tons of other guys who have seen 17X on their speedo.
