Default MPG Calculation Table

Here is a table for calculating mpg for any vehicle. Just enter the data. You need to record in the fuel station some data for it to work. I know most of you are engineers, so this table does not apply to you because you probably have figured out a better way to do it. It is destined for the people that need it and don't know how to do it. Thanks.

Its abreviated. First column on the left is filling date. mpl=miles per liter. litros=liters, galones=gallon, $=total cost, cost/lt=cost per liter, odo in=odometer readout before filling, odo out=odometer reading after fuel consuption, Delta=odo out-odo in.

metric system? Whats that?

The little orange numbers above the stereo tell me my mpg.

But thanks for the resource. If it was in the 'american' system I would be useful, otherwise it means nothing to me. :/

Its in miles, not kilometers. I wouldn't rely on the car's computer for that purpose.

What exactly don't you understand?

I saw that post and decided that liters is not gallons. Does it have both or something?

no off, but much easier way, do it at losangelesgasprices.com. They have an mpg calculator. That way you can access it anywhere, which is pretty cool... also gives u pretty neat graphs :-
