Default Ordering Parts

My rear axle is clicking in my 2005 Performance Z, so I called the local Nissan dealership and they said they ordered the parts to do both sides of my rear axle, and they would call me when the parts came in. I called them on Tuesday morning and haven't heard back from them.

How long does it normally take for them to get the parts shipped to a dealer?

Normally? The service bulletin parts were ordered for my car in August 2005. They arrived in August 2006. No joking.

Default Parts

I work in a Nissan parts dept. at a local dealership. ANd let me tell you alot of the time the dummest things will backorder on us. I've even had stock oil filters B/O. All they have to do if they really want your business is to do a locater and find who has the parts. And if all else fails sometimes the dealer will be at the mercy of nissan.

Nissan ordered me a new transmission under warranty. They said they'll call me after it arrives. It's been a month and half already...
