Thanks for the nice words everyone. It is interesting to note that I can proabably stuff more stuff in the back of the 240 than with my 350, as I used to haul a set of auto-x tires in the back of the 240 -- no way you can even carry more than one tire in the back of a 350 with that strut bar! That said, it is interesting to note the advance of technology over 31 years: my suspension-modified 240Z is easily out cornered by my stock 350!
Life is short -- enjoy the ride!

My first car was a '73 240Z. It was older than I was, but I loved it. Wish I still had it...

PIMP1911 Haven't heard or seen you lately. I've got an extra 260 engine laying around in my garage. It's just what you need to help you finish that rebuild you mentioned.

I wanted a 1972 240Z, but I was only 16.

It only took me 30 years until I could afford a Z.

I have a '71 240z, '78 280Z & my '03 350Z Track. The 240Z is a milestone car IMHO. Check this thread for a nice sounding E Prod. 240Z.

My roommate's boyfriend in Boston in the mid-70's had a blue Z 260 (or maybe 240?) identical ('cept for color, of course) to DavidV's pic above. He loved that car.

Bill from Brookline - wonder where he is now!
