Default 350z soon for me also :)

Hi everybody,

new to this forum. i registered to the forum bcs i would like to know the cons of this baby and the common problems. I am currently driving a 00" 330ci with 70k miles and i am completely happy with everything except 2 things:

+transmisson
+70k miles is already alot for me (for a european person), afraid of more problems will occur later on. so high mileage

So not to take it to the service often and sick of this transmission, i started to search for cars and for the money 350z is the best choice i think.

I love this cars look and sound. didnt have chance to drive yet. Which i dont like is the 2 seats (will be hard to get used to). And im wondering will it have the same comfort comparing to my 330ci.

Hopefully in 2007 jan or feb, i will get a 04" or 05" manual. We will see how it goes...

Just want to know. I am asking to ppl living in Europe. Are the parts of this car expensive comparing to BMW? And any1 who changed from a bimmer to 350z, would like to know your opinions about this car,

thanks alot

I've always heard that BMW's have silky-smooth transmission, so if you don't like it, then I don't think you'll like the Z's transmission, because it has less smooth/luxury feel and more of a rougher/raw sport car feel. Torque and Power from the Z is great though.
